CreditWorks Group is pleased to announce the successful renewal of its ISO 27001 Certification, the international gold standard for information security management systems.
First achieving certification in 2022, CreditWorks remains the first and only trade credit bureau in New Zealand to hold the accreditation. The renewal underscores the company’s ongoing dedication to best practice in information and cyber security.
“Maintaining ISO 27001 Certification is not a one-off achievement – it’s about living the standard every single day,” says CreditWorks Data Solutions / CreditWorks Solutions CEO, Phil Ashby. “This renewal reflects the hard work of our entire team in embedding a culture of risk awareness and robust data protection across the business.”
ISO 27001 is internationally recognised as the most comprehensive framework for managing data risk. The certification requires companies to implement, document, and maintain strict information security management processes. To ensure compliance, organisations are subject to regular independent audits and must demonstrate continual improvement.
“For a business like CreditWorks, where everything we do revolves around data, protecting that data is paramount,” adds Phil. “Renewing our certification gives our clients confidence that their information is safeguarded by systems and processes that meet the highest global standards.”
CreditWorks will continue to undergo ongoing assessments to maintain its ISO 27001 Certification and reinforce its leadership in information security for the trade credit industry.
